They have exhibited and organised shows independently, but this is their first venture as a curatorial team, aiming to create a lively and challenging programme and to provide audiences with stimulating and memorable experiences.
The first exhibition ‘THINGS THAT GO BUMP IN THE NIGHT’ featuring the work of artists from the UK and abroad will launch on Sunday, 30 March from 2 - 5pm. To view the work of the participating artists click here.
Liz Murray completed her MA Fine Art at Chelsea in 2005. She was the recipient of the Red Mansion Art Prize, which took her to Beijing in 2006. Recent exhibitions include ‘New Work’ (with Jess Flood-Paddock), Standpoint, London (2008), ‘Year 07’, County Hall, London; ‘Have Yourself’, Studio 1.1, London, (both 2007).
Clare Goodwin studied MA painting at the Royal College of Art, London. In 2001 she moved to Switzerland where, alongside her artistic practice, she co-founded K3 Project Space Zürich. Maintaining her connection with London, Goodwin has exhibited widely and curated a number of projects involving Swiss and British-based artists.
Cafe Gallery Projects London was established in 1984 by a collective of visual artists in order to exhibit and champion contemporary art. A reclaimed derelict ‘Café’ has evolved into a stunning purpose-built gallery, with a second space for site-specific, installation and video works at Dilston Grove.
